The Vienna Coed U12 team has clinched the state title in the RugbyVa Summer 7s series. 

The final, held on Sunday, July 20, at the Culpeper Sports Complex, featured a day of intense rugby with teams from across the Commonwealth. Vienna's first match was against Washington DC, who has continued to improve in play and numbers over the summer season.

After besting DC, Vienna moved on to a match against SYC, who has consistently proven to be a tough team with outstanding coaching. This was by far the toughest test of the day. 

With those two wins in place, the stage was set for a showdown with Richmond -- a team Vienna had yet to beat throughout the entire season. Vienna scored early, setting the tempo for a incredible offensive display with the final score 24-0.
